{"id":70,"date":"2008-04-27T23:50:50","date_gmt":"2008-04-28T04:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/threewheeledbicycle.com\/?p=70"},"modified":"2008-05-05T23:52:37","modified_gmt":"2008-05-06T04:52:37","slug":"goodbye-civic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/deberblog.com\/?p=70","title":{"rendered":"Goodbye Civic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My Civic has been a great car, but after tens of thousands of miles the little things were wearing me out.\u00a0 The keys barely worked, the interior was falling apart, the suspension needed replacing, etc.\u00a0 I will definitely miss the 30 mpg in town, 35+ mpg freeway, as well as the small size.<\/p>\n<p>I shopped around for awhile and finally settled on the VW Rabbit.\u00a0 It&#8217;s only rated at 22\/29 mpg, but it&#8217;s a neat little car.\u00a0 Lots of power and lots of neat features, but mostly I&#8217;m looking forward to being able to drive on the freeway with the windows up (A\/C) and actually hear music or talk to people.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude00\u00a0 And it&#8217;s a hatchback, so I still retain my &#8216;work truck&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/threewheeledbicycle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/index.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-71\" src=\"http:\/\/threewheeledbicycle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/index-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My Civic has been a great car, but after tens of thousands of miles the little things were wearing me out.\u00a0 The keys barely worked, the interior was falling apart, the suspension needed replacing, etc.\u00a0 I will definitely miss the 30 mpg in town, 35+ mpg freeway, as well as the small size.
