We almost moved in and started sleeping in the house this weekend. But we didn’t quite have enough time to finish up, and it was a good thing. I stopped by the house to drop off a few things on Saturday and found a lake in the front yard. A pipe had rusted through and sprung a leak. So we had to have the water shut off and replace the entire run from the curb to the house. Luckily the dirt was fairly soft and the pipe wasn’t too deep.
