Allison and I took a day trip down to Ano Nuevo in Half Moon Bay to see the elephant seals on the beach.  It was a really neat experience, and apparently there are seals there nearly all the time.  This time of the year is the mating season, so we had to make reservations.  We’ll definitely be back to see them a little later in the year.  It was FREEZING out there.  The census at the time we were there was 3000+ seals.  WOW!

We stopped in Half Moon Bay for dinner and saw this neat jail.

Allison and I took a drive around the valley and snapped a few pictures.  We drove around Lake Hennessey, and up Soda Canyon Road.  I had never been to the top of Soda Canyon, but it has an unbelievable view.  Actually, I had never been to Lake Hennessey either.
